MB2 affiliated brand, Picasso Dental + Orthodontics has expanded to Seagoville! With offices already established in Mansfield, Corsicana and Waxahachie, the new Seagoville office will be the fourth Picasso location.
The Picasso-Seagoville owner Dr. Korupolu—affectionately known as “Dr. K”—was introduced to MB2 when he sat next to Dr. Dana Tievsky at their dental school graduation from University of Southern California in 2013. Fast-forward to 2017, Dr. Tievsky is now a fellow MB2 affiliate-owner of the Archstone Dental & Orthodontics office in Azle, Texas! Dr. Tievsky heard about MB2 during her dental school days through a friend and explained the mission and values of MB2 to Dr. K.
Intrigued by Dr. Tievsky’s introduction, Dr. K set up an interview with MB2 doctors to gain better insight. Following that initial MB2 interview and his graduation, Dr. K continued his search all over Texas to find the right career fit. After interviewing with dental practices in the Austin, Houston, and Dallas areas, it was clear to Dr. K, here at MB2 we had everything he was looking for. Clinical independence, a supportive community of colleagues and mentors, and clear growth opportunities made MB2 an easy choice.
“[MB2 is a] successful company. But they had a different, approachable, home-town group-practice feel. Everyone I met with was so friendly—but they were also hardworking and dedicated in their craft,” said Dr. K, “None of the other practices I interviewed with could even compare, so it was a no-brainer.”
Within the same year, Dr. K began practicing at the MB2-affiliated Fresh Dental offices in Longview and Tyler, Texas. In 2014, Dr. K’s journey with MB2 continued when he transferred to the Dallas metroplex to work at the Picasso-Waxahachie office. After working with MB2 affiliated brands for a quick two years, he knew he was ready to push his career to the next level—ownership.
With the guidance and support of our MB2 team of experts and community of doctors, ownership was quickly made an achievable goal for him. Dr. K is passionate about his career, and at MB2 we are passionate about providing the right stepping stones so that our dentists have limitless opportunities for advancement.
“I needed to take the next step in my professional career and this was a great opportunity. Picasso Seagoville was a year in the making. It was a process MB2 made easy,” Dr. K continued, “I’m excited to be working in this great new community and for this new chapter in my life. I cannot wait to see where the next couple of years will take me.”
