MB2 Dental is proud to partner with Dr. Kim Mathews, owner of Pediatric Dentistry of Newnan in Newnan, Georgia.

Dr. Mathews attended the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry for her dental training where she participated in faculty research on dental materials and presented her finding at the International Association of Dental Research.  She graduated with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in May 2000.

Upon completion of dental school, Dr. Kim completed a two year pediatric dentistry residency at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center.  During her residency training she focused on providing comprehensive dental care for infants, children, adolescents, and special needs patients.  As part of her residency, she worked at Kosair’s Children’s Hospital in Louisville, KY, where care was focused on medically compromised children and children with special healthcare needs.

Dr. Kim is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She is member of the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Georgia Society of Pediatric Dentists.  She is certified in CPR and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).
