MB2 Dental proudly welcomes Dr. Andrew Wiemeyer and Dr. Sean O’Brien, owners of Wiemeyer Dentistry, to the family!
Dr. Andrew S. Wiemeyer is a highly respected prosthodontist with a strong commitment to providing exceptional dental care. After graduating from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in 1998, he furthered his education with a three-year residency, earning a certificate of specialty in prosthodontics. Dr. Wiemeyer joined his father’s practice, Wiemeyer Dentistry, in 2005, ultimately taking over the reins. Known for his dedication to staying current with the latest advancements in dentistry, he incorporates cutting-edge technologies like dental lasers, scanners, and digital X-rays into his practice. A member of prestigious dental organizations such as the American Dental Association and the American College of Prosthodontists, Dr. Wiemeyer’s expertise encompasses prosthodontics, cosmetic dentistry, restorative dentistry, and implant dentistry. Outside of his professional life, he is a passionate musician, playing bass in the band Blüfish, and enjoys spending quality time with his family through activities like tennis, golf, and skiing.
Dr. Sean O’Brien is a highly qualified and experienced dentist. He holds a B.S. in biological chemistry from Bates College and a D.M.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, where he was recognized for his outstanding research in reconstructive sciences. After completing a 12-month residency in advanced general dentistry, Dr. O’Brien is skilled in a wide range of dental procedures, including restorative, implant, and cosmetic dentistry. He is dedicated to staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in dentistry through his membership in the Contemporary Dental Study Club and ongoing continuing education. When he’s not practicing dentistry, Dr. O’Brien enjoys outdoor activities like fly fishing, kitesurfing, and skiing, as well as spending quality time with his family.
