Meet Dr. Johnathan Mendoza, 
owner of Cielo Dental & Orthodontics in El Paso, Texas! Dr. Mendoza joined MB2 as a new-grad in 2015 after earning his DDS at the University of the Pacific in California. Dr. Mendoza began his career working as an associate at our affiliate office Bliss Dental & Orthodontics in Odessa. He enjoyed his first three years out of dental school working under and learning from his mentors, Dr. Dustin McBride and Dr. Anne Faucheu, husband and wife practice owners. Now, Dr. Mendoza is fulfilling his dream of owning his very own dental practice in North West El Paso!
“I am excited to share my love of dentistry with the people of El Paso and provide them with exceptional dental care,” said Dr. Mendoza. “It has been a joy meeting new patients, and my team and I are overwhelmed with how sweet everyone has been! It’s rewarding to see how thrilled patients are that they no longer have to visit multiple practices to get their ortho, implants, extractions and root canals done.”

Dr. Mendoza is a doggy dad to a Golden Doodle puppy, Max, and Labradoodle puppy, Henry. He was a division 1 swimmer and still enjoys to swim whenever he can. He also trains Brazilian jiu-jitsu and Krav Maga at his local gym. Dr. Mendoza is passionate about his love for Mexican food—and he says El Paso’s is the best he’s ever had!
Dr. Mendoza is welcoming the city of El Paso to celebrate Cielo’s grand opening tomorrow, March 27th from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. There will be food trucks, the Canutillo High School marching band & cheerleaders, pizza & beverages, and games! Stop by to say hi to Dr. Mendoza and his awesome team.
