MB2 is proud to welcome Dr. Kurt Sturz and Dr. Chad Abby, owners of Sturz and Abby Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics in Bakersfield, CA.
Dr. Kurt Sturz established Sturz Pediatric Dentistry in 2006 in hopes of creating a safe and welcoming environment to care for the dental needs of kids in Kern County. To the delight of Dr. Sturz, Dr. Chad Abby and his family moved to Bakersfield in 2009. Having been roommates in dental school, Dr. Sturz and Dr. Abby knew that they had a common vision for how to practice pediatric dentistry and the desire to work alongside someone they both knew would effectively run their dental office with the same vision. In 2011, the practice had outgrown its first practice, and in 2015, Sturz & Abby Pediatric Dentistry was officially established.
In an effort to continually improve the level of care and attention offered to their patients, Drs. Sturz and Abby recognized the value of integrating orthodontic care into their practice. This led to the recruitment of Dr. Ken Ricks. Dr. Ricks’ character and treatment philosophy are perfectly aligned with the vision of Sturz & Abby Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics.
