We’re proud to welcome the father/son duo, Drs. Rick and Travis Evans, owners of Groves Dental Care in Tualatin, OR, this week.
Dr. Rick Evans has earned many awards and special achievements since that time and has since completed thousands of hours of continuing education. He has attended numerous privately sponsored advanced training programs, which keeps him highly skilled in the latest dental techniques and technology. Dr. Rick especially enjoys treatments that involve dental implants as well as surgical procedures such as tissue grafting and wisdom tooth removal.
Dr. Rick is actively involved in community affairs. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Oregon Dental Association, Washington County Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry. He also participates and is a member of the National Dental Practice-Based Research Network (NDPBRN). He has hosted guest lecturers for the ADA, AGD, and numerous other local dental societies. He is an active member of Medical Teams International, volunteering on their dental vans. During National Children’s Dental Health month, he educates children at the local primary schools in our community and enjoys working with youth sports teams.
Dr. Travis Evans participates in the highest level of clinical dentistry and is abreast of the most effective
and up-to-date treatments available. He enjoys Endodontics (root canals) and enjoys doing Invisalign Orthodontics, for whom he is a designated provider. Dr. Travis frequently tests and evaluates new dental technology for ADEC- the world's largest dental manufacturer based in Newberg, OR. Dr. Travis was raised in Portland, Oregon, and is a graduate of West Linn High School. He is fluent in Spanish and has been on dental humanitarian trips to central Mexico, treating Tarahumara Indians. He is a member of the ADA and ODA. Dr. Travis enjoys educating children at local schools in our community during National Children's Dental Health Month and presenting public health education to Senior Citizens.
