MB2 Dental, the original dental partnership organization, successfully completed its most recent Mission Trip to Jamaica. MB2 doctor partners and team members treated hundreds of patients with limited access to dental care across the Jamaican community. In partnership with the local organization Jamaicans Caring for Jamaicans, or JCJ, MB2 was able to reach a wide audience, with patients traveling from miles around to receive treatment.
Typically, every spring and fall, MB2 holds these Mission Trips. However, due to COVID restrictions, the team had to pause the biannual trips. Doctors and team members were beyond excited to resume caring for the Jamaican community.
Among those on the trip was Dr. Chris Steven Villanueva, MB2 Dental Founder and CEO, who participates in every Mission.
“These trips remind us why we all, as dentists, started this journey in the first place. In addition, I get to spend time with my partners and our executive team in a setting outside the office and outside the practice that helps grow and bond us all as a team.”
Dr. Villanueva was joined by his wife, Dr. Carol Villanueva, 20 fellow MB2 doctor partners, members of the MB2 executive team, the Dove Family Dentistry team, and sponsoring partner Cadmus Dental Lab.
Dr. Joseph Dove is the owner of the Dove Family Dentistry brand, with now six practice locations across Tennessee. Dr. Dove founded the Jamaica Mission Trips prior to partnering with MB2 in 2015. Upon joining, MB2 adopted and began sponsoring the trips.

I never anticipated the level of support I’d receive on my personal endeavors as well. What started out as a small Mission Trip I led with my practice team has become something so much bigger. MB2 is truly an all-in culture and family.”
