At MB2 Dental, we believe that dentistry shouldn’t feel like being on an island. That’s why we prioritize getting our doctor partners together outside the practice. This June, we celebrated the 10th anniversary of our MB2 Dental Owner’s Retreat. As an organization, we’ve traveled to many destinations together, but this year, we welcomed over 350 doctor partners, guests, leadership, sponsors, MB2 team members, and more to sunny San Diego, California – a favorite spot of our Founder and CEO, Dr. Chris Steven Villanueva (or Dr. V, as we call him).
The annual retreat not only provides a much-needed break from the isolating nature of private practice but also serves as a platform for personal and professional growth. It’s an opportunity for everyone to come together, recharge, and spend time with their peers who understand the challenges and joys of being a dentist.
“When you have an authentic leader, you have authentic people who work for that leader, you have authentic partners within that organization, and everyone is on the same page. I’m so excited about how this company is going to continue to grow together. And to be a part of that is something really special. I’m blessed to be able to participate in events like these,” said Dr. David Chotiner, owner of Coastal Dental Arts in California.
From evening activities to leadership sessions with Dr. V and the executive team, every moment of the retreat was designed to strengthen bonds within the MB2 family. The nighttime events went beyond networking, laying the foundation for lasting relationships. Morning sessions offered transparency and clarity, aligning partners with the company’s goals and vision for the future. This reinforced that at MB2 Dental, every doctor’s voice plays a role in shaping the organization’s direction.
“We’re on a phenomenal path as an organization. What I’m most proud of is we’re doing it our way. We continue to look out for one another to be the best in class. As we continue to grow, we remain the same, our values never change and these trips get better as time goes on,” said Dr. Chris Steven Villanueva.
