How long have you been practicing dentistry?

I’ve been practicing dentistry for 27 years and owned my own practice for 21 of them.

Why was MB2 the right partner for you?

It allowed me to maintain control of the clinical side of my practice while alleviating some of the non-clinical aspects of practicing dentistry.

How has your experience with MB2 been so far?

It’s only been a few months but the transition has been straight forward and I could not ask for a more helpful and patient group to help guide me through the process.

What has been the most exciting part of the transition?

Feeling like I am becoming a member of something bigger and better moving forward toward retirement.

What advice would you give to fellow dentists looking to make a change?

The great thing about MB2 was that I was given options on how I wanted to partner with them. I was scared to become an employee of a large DSO corporation which would require me to give up too much autonomy at this stage of my career. Partnering with MB2 gives me so many more options moving forward.

Tell us about the community you practice in and how you keep involved.

My community is growing very rapidly at the moment. It is a suburb of Dallas which is an area that has seen tremendous expansion since I began my practice here in 1998. It is a fantastic place to live, work and raise a family. We as a family are very active in the Arts located within our area and have been supporters of local children and adult theater.

What are your goals for yourself and your practice?

My goal is to grow my practice and make it even more successful so that when I do transition out, the new doctor can continue to grow and enjoy their career as much as I have.
